STEM Family Sundays are recommended for kids ages 3 and up. There is no upper age limit, and adults are welcome to participate and fly alongside their children.
Yes. Every participant, including parents, gets to experience real flying in the wind tunnel with a certified instructor. It’s designed as a shared family experience, not a spectator event.
A typical STEM Family Sunday lasts about 2.5 hours, including the interactive STEM lesson, the live science of flight demonstration, hands-on experiments, and flights for each participant.
Wear comfortable clothing and lace-up sneakers. iFLY provides all flight gear — including a flight suit, helmet, and goggles — so no special equipment is needed. Tie back long hair before flying.
Yes. STEM Family Sundays are a popular hands-on STEM enrichment option for homeschool families and co-ops, complementing classroom learning with real-world physics of flight. Group rates may be available at participating locations
