"We went to iFLY today for a homeschool field trip, and everyone had such a great time! The instructors were amazing, especially our instructor, Cole. He was so patient and encouraging with the kids. One of the children in our group was really scared and upset before her turn. Cole took the time to talk her through it and even taught her a hand signal she could use if she wanted to stop. Halfway through her first flight, the tears were gone and you could actually see her confidence growing. By her second flight, she was all smiles! Before flying, the kids participated in a STEM class and safety instruction with Ashley. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and kept the kids engaged. She even took time to ask one of the dads questions and include him in the conversation since the topic related to his career field. The flying demonstration afterward was incredible, and some of the employees even stuck around after the field trip talking with our kids about scuba diving and the similarities between scuba diving and skydiving. They also gave them genuine insight into skydiving and different responsibilities, safety practices, and other things if they ever decided to give it a try. What impressed me most was how well the staff worked with our group. We had kids of different ages, maturity levels, personalities, and abilities, and Cole seemed to naturally adjust his approach to each child. Ashley seemed to also adjust how she intereacted with different children and included them in the group activities. At one point I actually asked another mom, “ Do you thing they are formally trained to be this good with different kids, or are they all just genuinely this empathetic?” 😂 Such a fun experience, and the way the staff treated the kids made it even better. Everyone had a great time, and we would definitely recommend iFLY for other homeschool groups and families!"
