Band members from American alternative rock band Judah and the Lion were in town for a concert and took the opportunity to unwind in the wind.


Judah Akers (vocals, guitar), Brian Macdonald (mandolin, vocals), and Nate Zuercher (banjo, vocals), the three founding members of Judah and the Lion, took time out of their schedule to visit iFLY before playing a show at MacEwan Hall at the University of Calgary on October 26.

 

This was the first experience indoor skydiving for all three of the guys and though nothing beats performing their songs in front of thousands of fans, they had the time of their lives flying.

Judah and the Lion is currently on tour in support of their third album Pep Talks, released on May 3, 2019. The 15th track on the deluxe version of the album, titled, "Let Go," was announced as the anthem for ESPN’s coverage of College Football’s 150th season in August 2019.

 

Pep Talks follows the breakthrough success of the band's second album, Folk Hop N Roll, which included the platinum-selling single “Take It All Back.” The band was subsequently nominated in three categories at the 2018 iHeartRadio Music Awards, winning Best New Rock/Alternative Artist. The band has since appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Late Night with Seth Meyers and NBC’s TODAY.
